What a weekend!  Since our article in BusinessWeek came out on Friday (page 64 if you haven't already seen it) we've received over $10,000 in loans! Kiva.org is honored to announce the addition of Reid Hoffman to Kiva.org's Board of Directors. Reid is currently CEO and co-founder of LinkedIn. Prior to LinkedIn, Reid was Executive Vice President of PayPal. At PayPal, Reid was in charge of all business relationships: business development, corporate development, international, government relations, and banking/payments infrastructure. Today Kiva.org had our first team meeting in our new office space! Complete with hardwood floors and a great cafe across the street, we're all looking forward to holding meetings around the water cooler and figuring out how we'll decorate.
